Summer is hot, and the walks between sites are harder work. Istanbul Airport (IST) and Sabiha Gökçen Airport (SAW) both serve the city, and flights are not included in the price. Topkapı Palace closes on Tuesdays, the Chora Church on Fridays and Dolmabahçe Palace on Mondays, sometimes on Thursdays too, so send your dates and we order the two days around them.

Yes. The Hagia Sophia welcomes sightseeing visitors through its Upper Gallery route, where you look down into the domed prayer hall and see the 13th-century Deesis mosaic and imperial portraits. Entrance fees to the sites are included in the tour price.
